Portuguese Fado is very popular at O Cais on Thursday and is live in our restaurant and bar.
Friday and Sundays we present live music with musicians from all over the Algarve playing Rock, Blues and Popular music. On Saturday evening the Karaoke is available to anyone willing to get up and give it a try.

Thursday Fado
With the live music in the bar,restaurant O Cais wants to add the 5th sense to complete your evening dining out.
On Thursdays live Fado is played during your dinner with our fantastic fado-ensemble consisting of Sarah Raquel (voice) Manolito (portuguese guitar and accordion) and Joao (classical guitar). They will play a variety of accoustic fado numbers from Lisbon, Coimbra and the fairs.
Although Fado means fate,not all the fados are in a minor key as the fados from the fairs. They are more cheerful and accompanied by accordion instead of the 12 string Portuguese guitar. After dinner the fado musicians will continue playing in the bar,where also other fadistas and locals are invited to sing their fados.

On Fridays we offer you in the bar live music with various artists, where you can enjoy good music with your coffee, brandy or more.
Saturday Karaoke
For those who don t play an instrument,but like to sing we offer a great Saturday night KARAOKE where you can sing along, dance and have fun with your friends and family after dinner.
Sunday Jam Session
On Sundays after the 3 course sunday lunch we have our already famous jam session. If you play an instument or sing you can join the jam,or you can just sit back and enjoy the party with very good musicians that live in the area or are on holiday, playing jazz, blues, rock and roll, folk etc.
